Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) Certification Scheme · Ministry of MSME
ZED Certification proves your manufacturing business produces "Zero Defect" products with "Zero Environmental Effect." Government subsidises 50–80% of certification costs. ZED-certified businesses get preference in government procurement, better access to export markets, and improved bank credit ratings.
📋 Eligibility Criteria
- Manufacturing MSME with Udyam Registration
- Business must have been in operation for at least 1 year
- Willing to undergo ZED assessment and implement improvements
- Manufacturing sector only (not service)
